Feel the magic of nature
We are a family-owned company, founded in 1994. Our strength lies in years of experience in the field and flexibility in organizing events. Our main goal is to offer the customer an unforgettable and genuine experience, be it a short visit or multi-day program with accommodation. We have fixed facilities in the middle of Nuuksio National Park, a short distance from Helsinki and the airport. We serve our customers individually as we always have one single group in our premises at a time.
Our cozy log villas and our location in the middle of the Nuuksio National Park, as well as the Porkkala marine environment, provide a wonderful setting for a meeting and recreation day in the metropolitan area of Helsinki.
All food is made in our own kitchen on site from fresh seasonal ingredients. Our activities offer a wide range of year-round wildlife excursions.
We offer a touch of northern magic in the southernmost Reindeer Park in Nuuksio, Finland. You can feed reindeer and dine at the atmospheric White Reindeer Teepee Restaurant by the open campfire.
Sustainability
We are committed to following the principles of sustainable nature tourism and making responsible choices. For us, sustainability means not only responsibility for the environment, but also responsibility in our everyday lives and practices. Our actions are based on openness and honesty. Our customer promise is to provide sustainable services to all tourists, visitors and partners on an equal footing.
Our company has been granted Sustainable Travel Finland label and GOOD TRAVEL SEAL as a recognition of valuable and long-term work for sustainble tourism.
Inclusive tourism and equality
Our company operates according to ethical and moral principles and does not accept any form of commercial, sexual or any other form of exploitation or discrimination.
Accessibility
Accessibility means safety and acceptance of difference. Our services take into account equal treatment regardless of background or personal limitations, for example in relation to vision, hearing, understanding and communication. Unfortunately, our old log cabins are not wheelchair accessible and there are also a few steps at the entrance. A wide boardwalk leads to the Reindeer Park, with a handrail at the end and a few steps up a rocky slope. The rocky outdoor area of the Reindeer Park is also not wheelchair accessible.
