SUMMER ACTIVITIES

The unique Noux lake upland area with over a hundred lakes and ponds, valleys and gorges offers fabulous surroundings for nature experiences and adventures.

There are lots of alternatives for activities. Duration from a few hours' activity to several days' programmes according to the client's schedule. Usually the event consists of many different activities, which makes the day very many-sided. The programme will be carried out according to the condition of the group, and participation in the activities is voluntarily. Please check our different alternatives for summer and winter season as well as some ready-made packages and information about team building education.

CANOEING AND KAYAKING
Step into a canoe or kayak and join us on a paddling adventure in the pristine waters of the Noux lakes. If you have no objections to copious amounts of fresh air and beautiful scenery, grab a paddle and lets go!

CHURCH BOAT ROWING
Rowing in 15-person church boats on lake Pitkäjärvi, the largest lake in Noux (11 km). You can find some prehistoric rock paintings, which can only be seen from the boat. At our Viking theme adventure you will row in the rhythm of the drums and compete for the championship between the clans.

KAYAK POLO
Action-packed water sport including safe inflatable kayaks, rescue suits and helmets.

MOUNTAIN BIKING
Explore Noux by mountain bike. The national park offers a vast richness of terrain suited either for a leisurely outing or for tooth-jarring extreme. Take your pick!

ATV SAFARI
Moving from one activity to another by ATV and fighting for the championship on our race track is a fun and memorable experience. ATV safari can also be combined with GPS orienteering or geocaching (treasure hunting). This will make the safari a more adventurous one.

PARASAILING
An exciting and unique way to see Noux wilderness at the height of 100 m! The flight is carried out perfectly safe with our special guides. A tandem flight is also possible.

CROSSKARTING
A action-packed and safe motocross ecperience by cross-country go-carts! Please look closer here.

TARGET THROWING AND SHOOTING
Archery, throwing a viking axe, shooting by blowpipes, shooting by air rifle gun, paintball, petanque, "mölkkä".

ROCKCLIMBING/ABSEIL
Tackle the rock faces or abseil the rugged cliffs of Noux, challenge your skills on routes of varying difficulty. Try wall climbing on our 8 meter high wall. Test your limits safely with the guidance of our staff. Awesome experience for the first-timer!

TYROLEAN TRAVERSE
A thrilling cable slide over a gorge or a lake with harnesses on, safely secured.

HIKING, ORIENTEERING, MUSHROOM AND BERRY PICKING
Journey with us into the wilderness kingdom of Tapio, the Finnish forest god, for a few hours of relaxation and pure nature experience. Our expert guide will initiate you into the "fine art" of mushroom and berry identification and picking.

HORSEBACK RIDING
Beautiful riding tour through Noux national park offers a pure nature experience. No previous riding experience is needed.

SWIMMING TOUR
New perspective for nature lovers is our swimming tour in small wilderness lakes with wet suites on. All equipment needed will go along on a rubber boat or a raft.

GEOCACHING
Fun and exciting treasure hunt with GPS. Can also be combined with ATV safari.

"NOUX SURVIVOR"
Who will be the survivor/survivor team of Noux! Fun and exciting adventure competition in the Noux wilderness area. Programme duration from half a day to two days. Individually tailor-made, throughout the year. The level of difficulty according to wishes.

OVERNIGHT IN THE WILDS OF NOUX
Our experienced guides will take you on an overnight safari into the very heartland of the wilderness. These are the regular haunts of the flying squirrel, capercaillie and moose. Bear, lynx and wolves are also known to frequent the area. Answer the call of the wild!

WILDMAN
Fun action day on the ground, in the air and little bit in the water too.

PAINTBALL
An action game with speed and excitement! Equipment for a group of 30 people.

HIGH ROPE TRACK
The exciting high rope track for the daring offers a chance to excel yourself! The track is 6-9 m above ground level and you will be lead through it safely by our expert guides. Surprise yourself!

TEAM BUILDING
The team building activities require a bit of physique, cleverness and a whole lot of humor. Community spirit will decide success. Please check also the possibility of team building education.

FRISBEEGOLF
A challenging cross-country track with 9 baskets at the Bear's Nest in Nuuksio. Fun "every mans" sport for 5-30 persons including guidance. Different game alternatives. Combine the frisbeegolf as a part of the meeting programme or recreation day. Playing outdoors in fresh air is possible throughout the year.

FOREST GOLF
Great everyman's golf where no green card is required. Golf clubs are made of natural wood.

KLONDYKE
Gold washing in our "gold brook". Claim areas will be drawn by lot and goldwashing time decided. All panned gold will be weighed in the end and the winner team rewarded.

RC CROSS-COUNTRY COMPETITION
Exciting competition with small radio-controlled cross-country vehicles. Qualifying games, finals and distribution of prizes. Who will be the champion of the day?

ROLLINGBANDY
Cheerful team game. Sticks and ball as game equipment. Can be played also in the winter time.

TARGET THROWING AND SHOOTING
Viking axe, archery, air rifle gun, blowpipe, paintball, "mölkkä", petanque.

BASKET CLIMBING
This classic climbing task is back again at the request of customers.
