Nuuksiontie 83, Espoo, Finland
(30 km from Helsinki and from the HEL Airport, 1 km from the Finnish Nature Center Haltia)
An intriguing log cabin with cozy atmosphere is located on a cliff top overlooking the magnificent scenery of Nuuksio National Park. The landscape has a close resemblance to Lapland. The cottage was built in 1963 by a local carpenter from trees felled from our own land. Wood keeps the extra carbon out of the atmosphere also in the form of log wall so choosing a log villa is in itself a good choice for a better climate.
Come and enjoy a casual gathering with a group of friends, colleagues or family in an idea-rich setting. The spacious living room has long tables for 20 people, a sofa group and a large natural stone fireplace, a kitchenette, a traditional wood-heated sauna and a 7-person hydro-massaging outdoor jacuzzi with a natural stone terrace, three two person’s bedrooms and a loft in the attic for appr. 10 people.
During the summer, the outdoor terrace provides additional space and barbecued food from our summer kitchen offers the summer's ambiance at its finest. There is also a firepit on the yard for a campfire.
Neighboring the National Park, the location is conveniently accessible directly to the wilderness and marked trails around. We organize a wide range of different guided activities throughout the year.
Private weekend rentals are particularly popular, so ask for a quote early: sma@sma.fi. When enquiring, please include the subject of the event and the number of people attending.
Pets are allowed at an extra charge.
