Welcome to Karhunpesä, a cozy log villa nestled in the heart of Nuuksio National Park’s majestic scenery. Located on a rocky hilltop, the villa offers breathtaking views that have been compared to the landscapes of Lapland. From the doorstep, you can step straight into the forest trails – and let the adventure begin.
Spend a relaxed team day, meeting, retreat, or small celebration at Karhunpesä. The spacious and warm-hearted living room brings your group together around long wooden tables (seating for up to 20 guests) beside a grand natural stone fireplace. Everything you need for a productive day is included: a data projector, screen, flipchart, and Wi-Fi.
We can arrange delicious coffee breaks and meals for your day – or you’re welcome to bring your own food. A small kitchen is available for your use. In summer, you can cook outdoors on the rocky terrace with a gas grill under the covered summer kitchen. Meeting refreshments are available on-site if needed. You may bring your own dinner and sauna drinks, as we do not hold an alcohol license.
End the day with a soothing session in the traditional wood-heated sauna, followed by a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub – under the open sky and surrounded by peaceful silence. The sauna fits about 6–7 people at a time.
You can enjoy the peace of nature while joining our guides for a variety of activities. Relax with forest yoga, play disc golf (also on an illuminated course in the evenings), visit the reindeer park, go paddling, or try snowshoeing in winter – all starting right from your doorstep into the forests of Nuuksio. Karhunpesä offers three double bedrooms and a low loft space for about 10 people – accommodating a total of up to 16 guests. Additional space is available at the Nuuksio Reindeer Park in the atmospheric two-person shingle huts, Naava and Pihka, which can be reserved separately.
Located on the same grounds, Nuuksio Reindeer Park and the charming White Reindeer Kota bring a touch of the North to your event. Book a unique experience where you meet the reindeer and enjoy a lunch or a three–four course dinner with wine by the open fire in the kota – or use the space for an atmospheric meeting in nature.
Karhunpesä is available for full private rental – especially weekends are in high demand, so we recommend booking well in advance.

The White Reindeer Kota, just steps away, is a magical venue for a small wedding ceremony or celebration. The warm ambiance of the kota and the presence of reindeer create a truly unforgettable day.
